Good News to Think About

A Post by Steve McVey, a brother in Christ I have never met, but am glad that I stumbled across his blog. It has caused me to consider my life in Christ from a fresh perspective, one that gives me bliss. Hope you enjoy it too!

  1. Interesting... I did like it, although it almost sounded as he was saying that we became part of God's "godness" - it was a bit confusing, but I don't think that is what he meant. I do like the thought of not accepting Jesus but being accepted by Him. Very cool.

4Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

  3. 2 Corinthians 4:7 7But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

  5. Yes, I know what you mean - I was just referring to the heresy of thinking that we become minature gods.

  9. Steve McVey has been a big part in my healing. I learned about him when I went to a Spiritual Healing retreat that is run by a Southern Baptist Couple. So I doubt Steve is Mormon. ;-)
